I'm less confident about means testing & more confident it
will be delayed benefits.
When social security was started the average life expectancy was something like 65. It was intended for those that lived beyond their life expectancy.
Plus demographics are such that our country will likely need the workers. Everyone is getting older and having fewer kids.
Obviously all of this is dependent on immigration policies, which are clearly another third rail at the moment.
Healthcare (medicare & medicaid) are the real fiscal problems for the country (not that social security is all that and bag of chips).
